The Revd George Otieno is an Anglican priest from Tanzania. He has spent much time considering the outcome of Christianity for African ecology and is in the UK at present writing a PhD on the subject. He suggests that the Western European understanding of the Christian gospel is not always in harmony with the way Africans think of and relate to the world around them.
