Truth and the Media

Ruth Gledhill is an English journalist and, until May 2014, when The Times decided faith was insufficiently important to warrant a specilist correspondent she was the religion affairs correspondent at the paper. She grew up in Gratwich, Staffordshire, a small village near Uttoxeter, as the daughter of the local vicar. She is married to Alan Franks, a writer for The Times and The Guardian, a playwright and musician and is currently editor of “Christian Today” and is a regular contributor to The Tablet and other national newspapers and journals.
With more than 30 years experience of reporting on religion and church in the UK there are few better placed to reflect upon upon how Truth can survive an encounter with the mainstream media. We very much look forward to welcoming her to Sherborne.Share:
